About MiaMUG

Mac-in-Awe MUG is a Community Computer Users Group was formed in 1985 to serve the needs of Macintosh computer users in the mid-Michigan. With the introduction of new generations of super speed Apple Macintosh computers iMac, Powerbook, MacBook Pro, iPod; a club for users is more essential than ever. That club is Mac-in-Awe MUG.
Most of our members live in the Tri-Cities area, but keeping up with developments in the fast-paced personal computer world has attracted members from as far away as Traverse City, the Thumb, etc.. Our members enjoy the benefits of year-around monthly meetings, a monthly newsletter, an extensive library, and access to help from other members. OUR CLUB PROVIDES Year-around monthly meetings, where you can bring your questions on anything to do with Macintosh computers, peripherals and software; Demonstrations and comparative analyses of software and hardware, both new on the market and established; A forum for discussing the news about computers and their uses, including several meetings each year in which the Internet is the main subject; Help with your problems through our network of members, new and old, who will steer you to the right answers to a sticky problem or a routine question you may have. All you have to do is consult our help list and telephone (or e-mail) a member who will give you support; We exchange our monthly newsletter, MouseTales, with other clubs around the country, in this way providing additional sources for timely information on computer products and their uses. In addition to regular feature columns, members also contribute tips, ideas and articles to MouseTales.
