Mac-in-Awe MUG is a Community Computer Users Group and was formed in 1985 to serve the needs of Macintosh computer users in the Mid-Michigan area.

With the introduction of new generations of super speed Apple Macintosh computers: the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, iPod and now the new iPhone, a club for users is more essential than ever. That club is Mac-in-Awe MUG!

Most of our members live in the Tri-City's area of Michigan, but keeping up with developments in the fast-paced personal computer world has attracted members from as far away as Traverse City, the Thumb, etc.

Our members enjoy the benefits of monthly meetings, a monthly newsletter, an extensive library and access to help from other members.

Our Club Provides:

• Monthly electronic newsletter.
• Year-around monthly meetings, where you can bring your questions on anything to do with Macintosh computers, peripherals and software.
• Your chance to win raffles of "cool" prizes at our regular monthly meetings.
• Demonstrations and comparative analyses of software and hardware, both new on the market and established.
• Membership in our Digital Imaging Special Interest Group (DISIG) and iLife Special Interest Group (iLSIG).
• Membership to an email discussion group for discussing the news about computers and their uses. This allows our members to get their questions answered between meetings.
• Help with computer problems through our network of members, new and old, who will steer you to the right answers to a sticky problem or a routine question you may have.
