ilife special interest group (iLSIG)

Our Name:
iLsig - to signify iLife SIG

Our Ultimate Goals:
1. Advanced users of the iLife software to include iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto and Garage Band
2. Ability to export to web hosting sites
3. Develop a Google Group for iLsig members to facilitate a communication tool between meetings
4. The primary version of iLife to use will be determined at a later date

Meeting Dates and Location:
First Tuesday of the month, alternating locations between Midland and Saginaw
Even Months: Midland at the Wheeler Road Church of Christ - 1123 E. Wheeler Road
February 2nd, April 6th, June 1st, August 3rd, October 5th, and December 7th
Odd Months: Saginaw at the Rehmann Group Offices - 5800 Gratiot Road (Gratiot and Center Roads)
March 2nd, May 4th, July 6th, September 7th, and November 2nd.

Meeting Format:
Featured Presentation - 30 to 60 minutes
Q&A - 20 minutes
Show and Tell from homework assignments - Maximum of 4 presentations at a maximum of 5 minutes each.
February 2nd Meeting Agenda: (Midland Location)
Ritch Clayton to show how to add pictures and music to iMovie

Bring your computer, 6 to 10 pictures files and 1 or 2 music files

March 2nd Meeting Agenda (Saginaw Location):
Rich Weiler to show how to import video into iMovie.

Bring your computer, video camera, movies on your camera's capture media (tape, card or DVD) and capture cable (firewire or USB)

April 6th Meeting Agenda (Midland Location):
To be determined at the March 2nd meeting.
